Decatur County part of Chattahoochee Trace

Decatur County is part of the Historic Chattahoochee Trace. Please click on Historic Chattahoochee Commission to view information about this organization .

Decatur County is also part of the Highway 27 Association . This group promotes historic courthouses and sites along the Highway 27 corridor, which extends all the way to the Canadian border, and it serves as an alternative to I-75 as a route to Atlanta, as well.

Decatur County is proud to partner with the State of Georgia Department of Natural Resources in purchasing the Silver Lake WMA for the benefit of current and future generations.
